Welcome to Greg’s Corner. This is my little corner of the universe where companies’ phone calls are answered by humans because “Your call REALLY IS important to them”. It’s a place where plumbers, electricians, and cable people schedule same-day appointments with 10-minute windows and they show up on time. Kids don’t scream on airplanes, in grocery stores, or anywhere else. We don’t need childproof medicine caps or notices that plastic bags are not toys because parents watch their kids. Politicians are honest and really care about the people who elected them. They come together, regardless of party affiliation, to solve society’s problems instead of blaming each other for them. Food and gasoline are cheap. Everyone has high-quality, inexpensive medical and dental care. And, unicorns are real.
Okay, it’s a fantasy, but at least we can pretend. Hopefully the pages that follow will take your mind off the reality in which we live, even if just for a little while.
